HV Series Sensors for Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning Equipment (HVAC) Products
The HV Series Sensors is a family of pressure sensors that significantly reduce sensor inventory requirements and simplify the manufacturing process of HVAC equipment. Using a proprietary Multi-Range technology, Superior Sensor Technology’s HVAC sensors achieve the broadest dynamic range in the industry while maintaining up to 10 times better performance over competing solutions at every selected pressure range. The sensors can be calibrated and performance optimized from a 25 Pa to 2500 Pa pressure range while maintaining 0.1% accuracy at each selected range, reducing the number of system variants by 3-5x or more. The HVAC Series Sensors support a range of HVAC equipment applications including Differential Pressure Transmitters, Positive Airflow Volume Box, Handheld Test Systems and Air Filter Monitor Systems.
Standard product family features include pressure range support from 25 Pa to 5000 Pa with Effective Number of Bits (ENOB) >19 Bits, 16 bits output resolution for each selected range, 50/60 Hertz notch filter, programmable bandwidth filters from 0.1 to 10 Hz, 0 to 50 degrees C compensated temperature range and standard I2C and SPI digital interface support.
- HV120 supports four pressure ranges from +/-625 Pa to 5000 Pa (+/- 2.5” WC to 20” WC) and is ideal for DPT systems.
- HV110 supports five pressure ranges from +/-125 Pa to 2500 Pa (+/- 0.5” WC to 10” WC) and is also ideal for DPT systems.
- HV210 supports seven pressure ranges from +/- 25 Pa to 2500 Pa (+/- 0.1” WC to 10” WC) and is ideal for positive pressure modules, variable airflow, airflow monitor systems and some DPT applications depending the pressure range.
SV Sensor Series SP for Medical Products
SP Series Sensors is a family of advanced differential pressure sensors for spirometer and other lung or pulmonary testing devices. These unique sensors virtually eliminate zero drift, making them ideal for manufacturers of lung testing devices where zero reading stability is critical. The SP Series Sensors are based on the company’s NimbleSense architecture and proprietary Multi-Range technology enabling the sensors can be programmed to support a broad range of pressure variants and still maintain the industry’s highest performance at every calibrated pressure range. These technologies combined with the Company’s zero stability technology, Z-Track, provide manufacturers with the best-in-class sensors for next-generation spirometer equipment.
